Their old buildings were actually chicken sheds pre-dating world war one which goes to show its not the buildings that count, its the teaching. However, the new buildings allow the staff and students much more scope to learn in a much more pleasant environment.
Some time this year they are hoping to open the exotics part of the facility to the public giving them great access to the lemurs and other animals. This will also be a great opportunity for the students to learn how to deal with the public.
It was also a great opportunity for me to play with the lemurs and snakes!
